Duncan is a consultant in the events sector following over 30 years in the live audio industry.

Alongside this, Duncan is a senior member of the steering group of the #WeMakeEvents campaign, as well as its political team.

As a sound engineer and subsequently as a director of Autograph, the specialist live audio rental, sales and installations business for over 20 years, his experience includes a wide range of commercial responsibilities including finance, sales management, marketing and team management.

Having been involved in countless productions over the years, the immersive experience is far from being a new concept to him.

As a consultant, he continues to work closely with some of the industry’s leading manufacturers, campaign groups and trade associations.

As a campaigner he joined the #WeMakeEvents campaign, which was formed in response to the Covid-19 pandemic and the group represents the many freelancers and businesses that make up the Live Events Sector Supply Chain, many of whom are directly responsible for delivering the much loved, world famous UK Festival events.

In addition to the above, he has spent a number of years on the PLASA (Professional Lighting and Sound Association) governing body and as one of the founders of BEIRG, (the British Entertainment Industry Radio group) is familiar with government lobbying and campaigns following nearly 15 year’s work campaigning to protect the industries access to radio spectrum following Digital Switchover, 800Mhz and more recent 700MHz clearance processes.
